Men Of The South-East League Field

About Us
Men of the South East League Field, Inc. (M.O.S.E.L.F., Inc.) is a non-profit organization that has been in existence since 1993. Our primary mission was the management, maintenance and development of the South East Little League Baseball facility located at 17th and Putnam Street in the city of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
The leadership of Boyer East Field, North East Field and North Field terminated respectively in 1998, 2000, 2003 and left a void in the city with the game of youth baseball. It was at that point in which M.O.S.E.L.F., Inc. welcomed these other city leagues into their program. Because of this, the program grew from approximately 90 children to 400 children. Also, it was at that point in which Tee Ball and Pony Baseball were implemented and thus the significant increase in participation. Also, in 2003 the Junior Baseball program was established and in 2006 the Senior Baseball program was established. Additionally, a girls’ softball program is represented. Currently, we provide services to some 450 children whom participate in league programs, which encompass the North East, Boyer East, and South East fields in Harrisburg.
Our organization is affiliated with Major League Baseball, Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI). M.O.S.E.L.F., Inc.-Harrisburg RBI became affiliated with RBI in 2009 and traveled to participate in RBI regional play in Jersey City, New Jersey in and Washington, DC in 2010. In 2011, the Harrisburg RBI hosted the RBI Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament in which the Senior Baseball team and Girls Softball team advanced to the RBI World Series in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Senior Baseball team advanced to the World Series title game, eventually losing to Venice, California.
Our mission is to provide opportunities for the youth of the city and surrounding areas of Harrisburg in the nations’ favorite past time sport. Our vision is to mentor young people, teach sportsmanship, and develop teamwork utilizing the games of baseball and softball as a vehicle. With dedicated and committed staff and coaches, we will continue to reach our goal of providing quality programs for our youth.
